About Port Macquarie Saints netball club

Our Club

Our club provides competitive and social netball opportunities for all participants who want to play, umpire or coach. Saints netball club welcomes all ages and levels of experience and ability.

Our club values friendship, community spirit, teamwork and respect to all members – from our volunteers to our umpires and parents.

Our Volunteers and Life Members are active and engaged members in our organisation, and we are grateful and thankful for their outstanding contributions to the development of netball with us. Without their support we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!

History

Port Macquarie Saints Netball Club was formed in the early 1980’s and is one of the oldest established clubs in the Hastings Valley Netball Association (HVNA). Originally Saints acted as a feeder club for the Catholic schools in Port Macquarie. Today players come from all schools within the region.

Our life members are Bev Greco, Kathy Nardella, Cathy Matheson, Nicole Goerge and Sue Stevens.

We would like to thank them for their generous contribution to our club over the years. We look forward to having you with us on your netball journey!

Location

Our teams train from March to September after school at Macquarie Park, Grant Street, Port Macquarie.

Training times are agreed with the Coach and team. The weekly games are hosted at Macquarie Park on Saturdays for all age groups.

There is also a Monday Night Competition for senior players and a social Wednesday night competition that includes mixed teams.
